What is a non alcoholic drink?
A non alcoholic drink has less than 0.5% alcohol by volume (ABV). That’s similar to the amount of alcohol in a ripe banana.
Can I get drunk or feel the effects of alcohol from consuming these drinks?
All our drinks contain 0.5% alcohol or less. They are legally treated as non alcoholic because the tiny amounts of alcohol in the drinks are easily processed by the body without intoxicating effects.
Is non alcoholic wine just grape juice?
No. Not ours. All our wine is de-alcoholised, which means it has had the alcohol carefully removed. Our core range undergoes a unique process during which the aromas of the original grape variety are captured and reintegrated with the de-alcoholised wine at the end of the process.
Good de-alcoholised wine begins with good wine.
Where do your drinks come from?
Our drinks are sourced from some of the finest craft producers in Europe. Only the best quality makes The Sober Irish grade.
Who are these drinks for?
The Sober Irish is about ensuring no-one ever has to miss out on quality whenever they choose not to have alcohol. Whether that’s for one drink, on one occasion, or for the longer term.
What about people in recovery from addiction?
Although these drinks are non alcoholic, they may not be suitable for people on the challenging path to recovery because they look, taste and feel like alcoholic drinks. If you are recovering from addiction, you should be guided by those experts helping you on that journey.
