Fresh from the island of Rugen in North East Germany, this award-winning companion to the sea-salt IPA is summer in a bottle.

The Insel Brewery has a unique process which begins with open fermentation in the Baltic sea air; gentle vacuum distillation to remove the alcohol; bottle maturation with new yeast added to increase flavour without alcohol; and finally the distinctive bottle-wrapping to protect the beer from the light and preserve the full flavour for longer.

Mild and fruity. A fiery golden colour heralds the intense aroma of orange and citrus. The natural carbonation from bottle conditioning ensures a stable head and enhances the refreshing taste. Elegant fruity hop notes harmonise with the long-lasting freshness.

What is a non alcoholic drink?

A non alcoholic drink has less than 0.5% alcohol by volume (ABV). That’s similar to the amount of alcohol in a ripe banana.
Can I get drunk or feel the effects of alcohol from consuming these drinks?

All our drinks contain 0.5% alcohol or less. They are legally treated as non alcoholic because the tiny amounts of alcohol in the drinks are easily processed by the body without intoxicating effects.
Is non alcoholic wine just grape juice?

No. Not ours. All our wine is de-alcoholised, which means it has had the alcohol carefully removed. Our core range undergoes a unique process during which the aromas of the original grape variety are captured and reintegrated with the de-alcoholised wine at the end of the process.
Good de-alcoholised wine begins with good wine.
Where do your drinks come from?

Our drinks are sourced from some of the finest craft producers in Europe. Only the best quality makes The Sober Irish grade.
