Brown beer bottle with a colorful label featuring a lighthouse on a white background

Hidenseer Weizen (Wheat Beer) 500ml

£3.15 GBP

Taking its name from the island of Hidensee, this Hidenseer Wheat Beer is
part of the craft line from the brewing geniuses at the Insel Brewery. It pours
a hazy, cloudy golden or pale straw colour with a generous, creamy white
head that lingers.
The aroma is a classic wheat beer profile, with prominent notes of ripe
banana, clove, a hint of lemon or citrus zest, and a soft, bready backdrop.

The flavour is smooth and rounded, featuring sweet wheat, gentle spice
(clove), and a touch of citrus for balance. It delivers a full-bodied experience
without the alcohol.
It is light to medium-bodied: soft, airy, and creamy. The finish is clean, slightly
sweet, and refreshingly smooth.
It is brewed using traditional methods, including floor malt, natural hops, and
open fermentation in sea air, and is bottle-conditioned for freshness and, of
course, adheres to German Purity Law standards.

Ingredients:
Brewing water, malted wheat, malted barley, floor malted barley, hops, yeast

Frequently asked questions

What is a non alcoholic drink?

A non alcoholic drink has less than 0.5% alcohol by volume (ABV). That’s similar to the amount of alcohol in a ripe banana.

Can I get drunk or feel the effects of alcohol from consuming these drinks?

All our drinks contain 0.5% alcohol or less. They are legally treated as non alcoholic because the tiny amounts of alcohol in the drinks are easily processed by the body without intoxicating effects.

Is non alcoholic wine just grape juice?

No. Not ours. All our wine is de-alcoholised, which means it has had the alcohol carefully removed. Our core range undergoes a unique process during which the aromas of the original grape variety are captured and reintegrated with the de-alcoholised wine at the end of the process.
Good de-alcoholised wine begins with good wine.

Where do your drinks come from?

Our drinks are sourced from some of the finest craft producers in Europe. Only the best quality makes The Sober Irish grade.

What about people in recovery from addiction?
